Mildly aromatic soft cheese from the best Bavarian cows milk. Lactose-free due to natural ripening. Equally covered with Camembert mould. White up to creamy yellow colour, possibly small fraction holes inside. Smooth in ripened condition. Taste and odour is mild aromatic. In production are used special Brevibacterium linens bacteria, responsible for odour, colour and ripening of the cheese.
The natural cheeses from Coburger are solely preserved with table salt. Only microbial rennet is used to ferment all types of Coburger company cheese. Organic cheese specialties enjoy increasing popularity. All are produced with milk from certified dairy farms practicing verifiable eco-farming.
